Bio

 

Ana Comesaña is a Scientific Engineering Associate who uses data science and machine learning in the Building and Industrial Applications department at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Ana thrives on discovering patterns in complex environments, and enjoys using data-driven science to make sense of chaos and find innovative solutions to complex problems. She is dedicated to bringing people together and fostering a multidisciplinary environment of collaboration and effective teamwork.

Ana uses her experience to support research in a variety of applications. Some examples include identifying viable bio-jet fuels and accelerating alternative jet fuel research, as well as developing a thorough understanding of water treatment processes to reduce system downtime and costs of a water treatment facility.
